Bertogne

Bertogne is a peaceful village in the Belgian Ardennes, perfectly located between some of the region’s most popular highlights. From Bertogne, you can easily reach La Roche-en-Ardenne with its castle, cosy centre and river Ourthe, while Bastogne and its impressive World War II heritage are just a short drive in the other direction. Nisramont Lake, known for its beautiful circular hike and wild nature, also lies close by and is ideal for a day outdoors. In contrast to the busier tourist towns, Bertogne itself remains wonderfully quiet and rural, surrounded by fields, forests and small hamlets. This makes Bertogne an ideal base if you want to enjoy the attractions of La Roche-en-Ardenne, Bastogne and Nisramont, but prefer to stay in a calm, spacious environment.
