You need your personal charging pass and cable to activate the charger.

The charging system has quite a peculiar way to disconnect the cable:

– disconnect the cable from your car

– push the connector firmly into the charging station

– hold the touchbutton above the led-light on the front panel for 2 seconds

– pull out the cable

The cabin has a heat pump that controls the floor heating. It is set at a fixed temperature.

In the bathroom you can find a small electrical heater to add some extra warmth to the hut.

We advise you to follow these steps to heat up the hottub. We will make sure the tub is filled for you. Please note that we will not replace the water during your stay. We recommend taking a shower before use and avoiding products in the hottub. For longer stays, we add a salt solution to the water.

Additional wood is available on site, you can collect as much as you need.

1. Check whether the bath is indeed filled. Leave the cover over the bath in cold weather to fasten the heating process.

2. Prepare kindling by chopping the logs into small pieces.

3. Remove the stove lid.

4. Use your small kindling to start a small fire on the bottom of the stove box.

5. As the fire grows, add larger wood (2-6 cm) to gradually grow the fire.

6. Partially replace the stove lid on the box, leaving an air gap for the air intake of the fire.

7. Continue to feed the fire with wood. Stir the water frequently with the wooden paddle to circulate. An extra tip: if there is coming a lot of smoke out of the chimney, the fire is not getting enough air: open the stove lid a bit further. Do not overload as you might overheat the water.

8. The water should reach the right temperature in about 90-180 minutes, depending on the water temperature at the start.

9. To prevent overheating, stop feeding the fire when the water is still feeling a bit too cold to get in (approx. 32-34 degrees). It will gently climb up to a nice warmth (approx. 40 degrees). Once you are in, you can always adjust by opening (more heat) or closing (lower or stop the fire) the stove lid.

By closing the stove lid entirely, the fire will go out. With the cover on, it will keep its temperature for a while. When you want to reuse the hottub, it will take less time to reheat.

We will empty the stove box after your stay, please do not throw the ashes into the plants as they might start a fire.
