About the brand
Founded in 2012, Skandinavisk is inspired by over 20 years of travels across the Nordic region. They create subtle, refined scents based on aspects of Scandinavia they consider to be precious to the inhabitants and exotic to the outside world, and they blend them with colour, symbols and a single local word rich with meaning to create unique impressions of Scandinavia.
For Skandinavisk ‘living Scandinavian’ is not just which part of the world you come from, it’s also how you think, how you treat others and the nature that surrounds you, and what you treasure. They believe a more Scandinavian approach to life offers a blueprint for a better future in a world that’s forgetting how to listen to quieter voices. You can’t be beautiful if you leave a dirty footprint behind you. As a leader in B Beauty, the B Corp Beauty Coalition, Skandinavisk meets the highest standards of social and environmental impact and is committed to working together to deliver beauty for good.

Scent notes of Skog
Fir cones - As protection for their seed, fir cones have a strong wooden shell. Most commonly attached to the branch with resin, these cones have a fresh, subtle, herbal smell.
Birch sap – As you walk through a birch forest, the light catches the tiny golden droplets of sap as they ooze on to the white bark. The scent is tranquil, fresh and invigorating, with hints of citrus.
Lily of the Valley - A tiny woodland flowering plant with a big reputation, the creamy scent inside the drooping petals hides a poisonous interior designed to deter predators.
Pine needles – A crisp, invigorating scent flows from these spiny needles, and often the pinecone itself, which hides future pine trees as seeds within its core.
